Join us on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 for the FARE Idaho Field to Fork Festival Sandpoint. A day dedicated to celebrating and strengthening North Idaho’s local food economy. Hosted by FARE Idaho, this gathering brings together farmers, ranchers, food producers, retailers, chefs, and community members to connect, collaborate, and explore how we can build a more resilient regional food system—together.

 

We will be featuring great news and tips for any small business owners, as well as a dedicated time for producers in North Idaho to meet with buyers from area hospitality venues. Come prepared to make some great connections that will help your business grow!

 

Doors will open for the event at 11:30 am; a boxed lunch, snacks, coffee and water will be provided. We will wrap up at 3:00 pm.

From roasting whole animals in the rugged wilderness for hungry adventurers to crafting personalized fine-dining experiences for VIPs at Sundance Film Festival, his skills have traversed the globe. He’s equally adept at whipping up a gourmet feast under the stars as he is at plating a delicate amuse-bouche in your own kitchen.

 

Pedro’s passion for fresh, local ingredients and sustainable practices shines through in every dish. He champions local Idaho producers and even runs his own organic microfarm, ensuring the freshest fruits, vegetables, and honey find their way onto your plate.

The Boise Co-Op has applied to the City of Meridian for a third location to be located near Chinden Blvd. & Black Cat Rd. 

 

New USDA Meat Processing Plant Opens in Washington - Capital Press

Lone Crow Meat Processing has opened this month as a brand new USDA-certified slaughter facility. Cody & Jen Hoseth are first generation farmers that took nearly a decade to bring this facility to fruition from the ground up.
